Chairs on an Angle - Black and White ©2014 Nancy Lundebjerg When I first got to St. John the Divine ( Phoenix Rising , On Phoenix Wings , The Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine ), the only chairs set out were up in the front and on the altar.  Otherwise, the floor was bare (aside from the two carved pews  that stand in the back of the church). The Rose Window is the third largest Rose Window in the world -- made of over 10,000 pieces of glass and occupying a place of honor on the West wall above the main entrance to the church.
